Masters Endurance Legends Race 2 - Motor Legend Festival, Imola.
After running 6th overall with a time 0.6sec improved on his best lap in the Honda ARX HPD in 2011, before the roll back to the red flag pushed down him down to 7th and his fastest lap was cancelled, Mike Newton was eventually positioned second overall in Grp2 behind the Audi LMP900 and secured a further class win in Grp2 / P2.
Mike recorded a top speed of 272.5 kph (169.3 mph) in the speed trap, but with dramatically lower downforce on the MG Lola EX257 compared to the Grp3 LMP2 cars. More to follow...
